It's hard to wrap properly with the textured finish. I wanted to wrap my doors white to match the truck but have decided against it because dust will inevitably work its way under and the durability just isn't going to be there.
I spent about a hour or so with my local shop on having the white doors wrapped, the owners explained to me a wrap vs painted on expected life cycle. He recommendation painting so I'm planning on getting them painted. Now for certain, a wrap "should / could" last up to 8 years under best conditions of limited use out of weather. But probably only 2-3 years actual use on a D.D. if that. And a vinyl wrap should cost $15 plus per sqft for high quality 3M vinyl to have it done.

Dang that white sticks out like a sore thumb, if it was warmer weather and not raining I'd probably be plastic dip spraying now.

Maybe we should link up with a swap of doors on the toppers. :like: or toppers.

Congrats! PM me your address and I'll send your prize. Mine is due to arrive at the house on Tuesday. That's a pretty close race considering the boats were somewhere in Asia when we made the bet. The red on red looks good!

Seems like it blends in just fine.

Hi - more info about the diamond plate AL box you have in your bed? Is it bolted down? What fits in there? How versatile is it? Thanks!

On your white one I'd say so, in fact it hides that it's slightly taller than the hardtop. Not so well on Gobi, if I didn't have bad weather to deal with I might have just pulled them off until I get them painted. At least it should be fairly easy to get them painted by a shop by removing them for it.

Has anyone mounted a CB antenna with a RLD canopy? I previously had a rack system for my Gladiator with a CB antenna mounted at the right rear of the bed (worked great). After installing the canopy, I am now trying to figure out a CB antenna solution for the same location. I am weighing two possibilities- (1) figure out some type of bracket which would attach to the outside of the canopy at the right rear corner (a little tricky because of all of the angles at the corners of the canopy); or (2) secure the mount from the inside of the canopy and have it extend outside the canopy between the canopy and the top surface of the bed (basically where the weather stripping currently is). Not sure if any of that makes sense.

It holds a lot of stuff. I ran #2 wires back into it from the starter battery. They power a dual ARB compressor, lights in the canopy and a 75 liter Dometic fridge freezer. I put all the wiring in a walled off part on the passenger side of the box. The rest of the box holds lots of tools, recovery gear, air up/down gear, spare parts and misc. other things.

When traveling, put lighter easy to remove gear on top of it like sleeping bags, backpacks, etc.. So I can easily remove them to air up. Really happy with the set up.

Hi - please tell me about the extensions on your wheel arches. Are they DIY? What material did you use? Your wheels are awesome too thanks!

Thanks - who manufactured it? Where did you get it? More pics? Thanks!

Custom ordered, specs attached. I built the box rack to use the space behind the tool box and above the fridge. Going to build a rack under the roof of the canopy for chairs and a table. Lots of room if you use it right.

A bracket similar to what I made up for my bike rack should work well.
