Quick question for any owners of RPM Steering's steering components. If you have their tie rod, drag link or track bar, I'd love to hear your thoughts and experience.

DISCLAIMER: I'm actually not fishing for "What's the best tierod/draglink/trackbar out there?"; so I would like to preempt that discussion although I know it is inevitable. However, my main reason for asking is that RPM Steering is actually only a few blocks from my house. I'm waiting for a shipment of MetalCloak Baller Joints that shipped today and I'm thinking that I might upgrade the tie rod and draglink since they will be half off while doing the ball joints.

I have them. They have been great. they have taken some abuse. Also, The joints really tightened up the steering. Even after the hits, the steering wheel center never moves. Note: they are thick, so, depending on your lift and steering stabilizer brackets, clearance may be an issue. Here you can see how I oriented my Falcon steering stabilizer with the proper brackets and with a 3.5 inch Clayton overland plus lift kit. Here are some pics, the steering stabilizer bracket has been touched up with paint:

Note: RPM recommends using the Trackbar stud bolt for the stabilizer bracket for adjusting for proper clearance.

They make awesome stuff and are great people. I talked with Don extensively at Jeep Beach about their long arm components. I am going to change my lift to their 3 link front and eventually do the rear. We have the tie rod and drag link on both my JT and the wife's JLU.
