Could be, but mine was delivered a few weeks ago without any modified rubber blocks, etc. It was one of the first shipments of EVOa, but it was shipped well after this problem was brought to everyone's attention and RSI responded with a solution. So, I wouldn't count on receiving it with any updated parts, but a quick HD run would get you sorted. Let us know if you receive anything different. Should have rubber blocks that are thicker than the rest (Unsure of the exact thickness of the standard blocks, but revised blocks should be 9/16ths).

@Scratch - who did you order through? What date? Did you get a tracking number? I'm in CA as well. Last I heard from Off-road Alliance on Friday, seemed like none had confirmed as hitting the warehouses west of Kansas City. I ended up needing to switch to the EVOa just to get it before my trip. If they end up showing up out West soon, would be great to know.

I read that RSi recognized the problem and supposedly found a solution in like November or December. Was hoping the newer shipments included the thicker rubber shims. Does anybody know if this is the case? I just ordered my sport edition smartcap yesterday.

I ordered the Evo Sport from Northridge4x4.com on 3/13. Order is still processing. Would I receive it sooner if I ordered directly through you or does Northridge use the same distributor so it really doesn’t matter? Appreciate it and excited to get this cap - best looking one on the market.

I can't say how Northridge handles their orders so not sure I can answer that question. RSI does have some incoming caps so unless you just ordered with Northridge, I wouldn't recommend cancelling as you'll likely lose your place in line.

The Evo Sports should start shipping soon and we still have do have Adventure caps in stock right now.

I chatted with the RSI regional rep. He is unsure if the newest models on the water have the thicker shims. Fingers crossed that it does, but I’m not going to take any chances. He says he bought the ~9/16“ shims at Ace and placed them in the corners near tailgate (see pic). I’m going to a box store to get the shims just in case - cheap insurance for when I start putting this thing together. I’m going to be anxious to get it on and plan to use a 600lb hand winch and nylon strap to hoist into place - I’ll take images of that setup at some later point.

FWIW I got an email from RSI saying the load bars would start shipping at the end of the month. I don't know where they will be shipping from but that's a start. I've been waiting for mine for 6 weeks or so now.

@ThePhotoBus I ordered mine on Feb 12th. It shipped to me on March 8th. Tracking said it was supposed to be to me on Monday. Then that changed to Weds then the tracking info went away completely. I called @OffroadAlliance.com com today to help find it. Now it should be here next Tuesday. I'm up in the hills between Bass Lake and Yosemite so thing can take a little longer to get to me.
No word yet on when the table will be in and I'm waiting to order a rack for the top until I can measure how tall I can go and still fit in the garage.

@Bwitherel that seems like a lot of shim. Does it make the cap look unlevel? It seems to me like there would need to be a shim under each of the clamping points to keep the frame bottom from bending as it gets tightened down. That shim just doesn't seem right.
