RTT Mattress Upgrade?

Have a FSR 55" and was wondering if anyone has the same or similar and has upgraded or added to the mattress. (I know this isnt Gladiator specific...but people here are awesome and always seem to have the answer...)

I use the Exped mega mat duo L×w. It self inflates and is like 4" thick but deflates to like 1". It's heaven for sleeping on and it stores in my RTT.

Exped mat on top is the way to go. There's a few companies who will make you a custom foam mattress but it's just added weight up there and adds minimal comfort. Most tents can only handle an extra couple inches at most (because 2" more mattress means 4" when folded) and then you can't keep bedding up there.

The Exped is light weight and folds nearly flat. Had zero issues keeping it, two full pillows, a double bag, and a quilt in my Tepui when I had it.
