Rubber isolator on top of stock coil spring?

Is there supposed to be a rubber isolator on top of the stock front coil springs?

I just replaced my Iron Rock Off-road spacers with Clayton’s 2.5 inch springs. I ended up getting more lift than expected out of the springs (4 inches on one side and almost 5 on the other) and I’m wondering if part of that is because I left the rubber isolators in. Not sure if they were stock or if they came with my spacers

Did you seat the coils and clock them into the lower coil pad on the axle ?

Yes, they are seated correctly on bottom
