I've been hunting around trying to determine if the rubi's gas & diesel shocks are the same. I know the springs are different but can anyone confirm if they share the same shocks?

It appears on the wrangler, they are the same however when I looked at some older take-off suspension ads in our marketplace the photos show different part numbers for gas vs rubi shocks but I'm not sure if they are variations/revisions or if they are in fact entirely separate.

Does anyone know for certain? Thanks in advance!

I don't know for sure but if they are any different I would be surprised cause so far the shocks on my diesel are extremely underwhelming and I would highly suggest anyone looking to upgrade a lower level trim skip them and go aftermarket.
