Will Gladiator Rubicon axles directly swap with Gladiator Sport axles? Are the brakes (caliper/disc) on the Sport the same as on a Rubicon and is the drive shaft the same length for both Rubicon and Sport. I realize the locker electric will need to be configured and that the Rubicon axles are wider by an inch. I am looking at getting a set of Rubicon Gladiator 4.10's/locker take off axles and swapping out the Sport 3.73 non locker axles. Thanks for the information.

Should be a direct swap. The only difference is the axle width. You would have to use the drag link and tie rod from the Rubi.

As Rusty said add Rubi tie rod and drag link and the Rubi axles bolt in. I used the Lasfit aux switches for a factory look and operation. I have had the axles in for a year now and all has been good.

how did you run electronics and power on the electronic axle locker? Have to get dealer or computer resets done?

No resets or dealer involvement. The Lasfit allows the lockers to engaged/disingaged as a switch, on off. Also, the Lasfit switch panel can be installed/wired to be operated as factory. With engagement only when vehicle is in 4 low. The switch panel has built in electronics that takes info from signal wire connected to Jeep harness. You will need to buy Mopar connector to the locker at the axle for each axle.
