My gladiator Rubicon (3.0 diesel) is arriving any day now, and I am curious about suspension modifications. I want to maintain mileage as much as possible. I own a property 650miles away and go several times per year snd my commute is 28miles each way. Should I just level it? If I go bigger tires, what doesn’t hurt the mileage? What is practical to maintain max mileage?

I just sold my 2018 loaded JLU Sahara.

Typically, to maintain optimum MPG, leave it completely stock. Anything that adds weight to the vehicle, like bigger tires, will affect MPG. The diesel model is much heavier in the front end, and will have different springs from the gas models. Drive it stock for a week or two and see how it is before trying to decide if you need any suspension modifications.
