I just put new Rubicon fender flares on my 2021 Willys (Robocon).

1. Ordering from @AllMoparParts.com was smooth and seamless. Thanks, Benny!

2. Install only burned up 3 hours at a leisurely pace, solo, with hand tools.

3. I think it looks good, but I was after function over fashion. I intend to use this thing.

4. These are huge compared to standard fender flares, I can see them from the driver’s seat. I have 315’s on stock wheels (temporary), and used to see the corners of my rear tires in my mirrors, I don’t now.

Now, my Max Tow axle swap (5.38’s, and a locker), 38’s, and a 3.5” lift left to go; and I’m really gonna enjoy retirement! Y’all might see me heading to some crazy trail (fishing hole, or hunting spot) near you!

Nice! I did the same with my sport. I found a used set local for $100. They had some pretty good scratches on them so I sprayed them with some raptor liner. Still looking good two years later.

Where did you get the raptor liner and what kind of sprayer did you use.

It’s a 6MT. I’ll be around 2400 at 70 in 6th on 38’s. 70 is my self-imposed speed limit, I just ain’t comfy with yardstick-plus sized MT’s moving that fast. Speed isn’t my thing with my Jeep, I tend to take the slower routes.

I got it at Auto Zone. They sell a kit with four bottles, the hardener and a spray gun. It’s around $150 for the kit. I had a bottle left over from another project so I used it on the flares. They do sell an aerosol version and I think they used to sell a single bottle with the hardener.

I have a couple Autozones about 20 miles from me. I will be getting this stuff.
I am sure you had to rough sand the fenders first ..correct ?

I think the O’reillys near me has it as well if you have one of them that’s closer. Yea, nothing crazy, just scuff them up pretty good and make sure to use an adhesion promoter. I’ve sprayed the interior tub of a TJ that I used to have and also the interior of my aluminum boat and it has always held up great.
