Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could let me know definitively if I am safe to run without an inner fender liner on the front passenger side of a 2024 Gladiator Rubicon.

The dealership ordered the wrong replacement liner and tore the one that they were replacing under warranty, so I am without an inner fender liner and we are supposed to get some rain/snow before they get the Rubicon version in on Tues-Thurs next week.

They said I should be fine as long as I do not mud hard, but I am skeptical.

Thanks in advance.

When I bought my new to me Gladdy it too had no right inner fender, I drove it for a couple of weeks and half dozen day of those were rain filled. put some metal inner fenders on and all is good.

You should be okay, as long as you don't do anything that will throw water or mud up into the wheel well. You can make a temporary liner using some zip ties, duct tape, and cardboard.

I drove mine without front or rear for over a year. No issues. Better to have them up front because of electronics but I didn’t personally have issues.

What weather conditions will you be driving in?

The forecast has some rain and snow mixed over the next few days.

The shop said they would clean it up and that everything should be waterproof, but this makes me feel better about going without. Thanks for the input.

After seeing the collection of dried mud and dirt behind the rear stock fender liner, I'm not convinced that they do anything beyond appearance. I have a friend that has been driving his Gladiator for over three years, on-road and off, with no liners front or rear. He has not had any issues yet.
The American Adventure Labs Quick-Release liners are my current favorite options. Easy to remove them and clean out what gets behind them. Metal so they provide more protection. Aluminum so they do not add a rust cancern.

Respectfully,
