Safety packages no longer available?

Just tried to order a 23 Gladiator Rubicon and the dealer is saying neither of the safety groups are available on their end. Glitch or have they been discontinued?

Most likely they cannot get the parts in for the equipment. This happens quite often now... best way is to likely ask the dealer to keep an eye out on order banks and place an order when it is available.

Yes. The risk is other options may get dropped if you wait too long.

Another option is talk to another dealer. Not that a dealer would try to get you to go ahead and buy something they have on the lot now rather than ordering ….

yeah I did they even showed me on the screen it’s not even an option on the rubicon. It is on the overland though.

Yes. I’m in the same boat. I want to order a JT Rubicon but I’m holding off until the safety packages are available to order. There are some other items I wanted that are unavailable to order, but I look at it this way -- items like the hard top headliner and spray-in bedliner are easy to add later, so even though I want those items, I’m fine with proceeding with the order if I can’t get those. However something like the sensors needed for the safety package are not easy to add later, so I’m waiting until those are available for order again so I can get those from the factory.

Ordered a 23 Mojave and I was able to get them. It’s at the dealer right now. Window sticker says the features are installed (both safety packages)

im assuming you probably ordered it when they were available? Prior to October you could get the safety package
