Scattered clouds and sun today, photos don't do it justice. This color lights up in the sun. I think it was earlier in this thread we were discussing how this color can "shift" or look very different in different lighting. I have to concur now that I have seen it under different conditions. I love it, but it is definitely something to be aware of and a color you should definitely see in person at a dealership. As with other pics....photos straight from whatever defaults were in cell phone.

I love the Sarge Green with a black top better than a sarge green one. Very cool ?

Took delivery this evening of my Sarge Green Eco Diesel Rubicon Gladiator. I'll get some more pictures posted tomorrow, but I gotta say, if you're in Ohio, I'd HIGHLY recommend Blake at Dave Dennis in Beavercreek. Seriously good dude and the dealership was quick at getting us out of there. Been pestering him about 2 times a week for a month now!

edited to add picture from dealer...

Nice! Wanted the Rubicon diesel but chicken out at the end. Didn't want to deal with the maintenance and possible issues as I'm not much of a mechanic.

You know I thought about the same thing... BUT this is my first new vehicle ever and first different vehicle in 12 years so I figured what the heck, let's get what I want and deal with the consequences later... "That's future me's problem..."

I’m still stoked about my nacho order but the gladiator is more attractive than the wrangler in sarge. These are really nice enjoy guys
I saw a Nacho Rubi Gladiator at another dealership and I think, especially in the Willys trim (the black really makes the orange pop, only see JLURs like this, but still), it looks really nice.

Edited to clarify... been a day.

Is there extra maintenance of a Rubicon or is the
Still no sun here, but it was dry enough to get my new wheels and tires installed, followed by a very quick rinse to get the road salt off. Again, not a photog, so my apologies....pics straight from cell phone...looks like it was trying to lighten things up in a few of them since it was so cloudy. Always amazes me how much even a set of wheels and tires can change the looks.

Another question on the beauty ... your front fenders don't have that "filler" piece between the bumper like some of the S models I've seen. You have that open space like on the Rubicon. Did you order the winch bumper or? I like this look you got!

I BELIEVE that this is how all 2021 Sport S now come from the factory. I did not order the winch bumper. My exact order was: 2021 Sport S, popular equipment package, max tow, both safety groups and aux switch group. To be honest I recall seeing different things in diffferent pics at different times and I was half expecting that "filler" piece to be installed when mine was delivered. Perhaps someone more knowledge can explain it's inclusion or non-inclusion.

This is my first non Japanese vehicle. I've gotten used to going 150k+ miles with just simple basic maintenance. But I hear ya. This is my 'throw caution to the wind' purchase, so part of me still think I should have went for it with the diesel like you did. I still have a 4runner and an Outback as backup vehicles. I think what made me change my mind is the fact that most of my daily commute is less than 10 miles. I hear that might be a problem for the diesel regen.

With that short commute you should on average once a week go for a highway on ramp blast to clean her out.

That looks awesome! I'm waiting on my sarge JTRD - should be delivered any time now. Only difference is that I went with body-matched top and fenders. Black looks great, and I love the red Rubicon with sarge green!

I think I made the right choice (or at least the smart choice) with the gasser. Looks like extra work just to go burn some fuel once a week.
