Minty I think you should keep your wife happy for a bit more and change out just the PCV valve, and see what changes if any there is…..just saying …..Jack

I have doubts that he actually had as much Glycol contamination in the past and is more of lab issue and what they trigger with false positives.
The loss in coolant however was measurable @ 1 ounce consumption/1000 kms.
The lab reports on the second engine show no glycol. So it’s leaching from the new catch can hoses.

So OP for high jacking this thread😬. We will now go back to our regular programming…. DO THE CATCH CAN!!

I'd almost bet that could resolve most issues people perceive. The pcv valves have the most radical taper and least "forgiving design" I've ever seen in one....at least the original valve has. Anything off at all will be a problem for it.

No worries, knowledge and information is power. Rather spend money on mods, not repairs
