Seatbelt flapping annoyance

Had the doors and top completely off today for the first time ever. First off, the wind is so much calmer when the back top is off. Second, the middle seatbelt in the backseat would shut up. Lol. Has anyone else noticed this? Any easy quick fixes y’all have found?

I've heard there are clips close to the seatbelt that help with this issue to keep the flapping down. Maybe someone with a gladiator can show you or look around the cabin to see if they are there

There are clips for behind the driver and passenger seat. Not one for the middle seat bet though. Thanks for responding tho.

Yes. This is the worst. I keep meaning to see if I can just stuff the whole belt behind the seat.

I actually just tucked the belt in the crevice of the fold down console. We’ll see if that does the trick.

Not at home right now but this is how I solve it. Plastic juice or milk jug, cut a large rectangle out of it and cut a slit into it. Slide the belt into the slit and tuck the whole piece into the crevice where the seat folds. Can be modified easily with whatever is on hand, the key being a long enough piece to tuck securely,

I just tucked it and was out on the freeway. Worked like a charm. If it stops working, I’ll check out your milk jug device haha.

Been doing it since the JK, I wonder how many drivers seatbelts are getting lazy to retract as well. My solution was to just clip any belt that for whatever reason decided to flap.
