I'm the owner of one of those threads previously mentioned. I remember working with my glass guy last year, he said the only options for replacement were OEM with tint or without. But that Breezer window does look like a nice option. I found this video and it was teased for release Spring of 22, so maybe it's available now?

The only problem I see with it, is it makes the rear window look even smaller. I know that it is nearly the actual size of the opening... maybe there could have been an option to cut part of that lower section of the top out to make the opening larger...

Yeah I agree, I was just surprised there actually may be an alternative. I wouldn't spend my money on it, if I want more air out the back window, I'll just take the roof off!

This looks like a glue in style rear window and it is reasonably flat. I wonder if you could get a larger window from another manufacture and have someone cut/grind it down to fit.

Out of curiosity, how did the rear glass shatter? I'm asking if it was something we can do to avoid it too, i.e. a weird angle off road while turning a certain way or something and it binded it... And I'm sorry to hear about your damage. Ya too bad the rear slider is so tiny. I noticed this too.
I broke a rear window once when I was cutting firewood. I was throwing pieces into the bed and sent one a bit too high and far. It bounced off the window in slow motion and I though I was ok. but when I got in, there was a crack.

It only looks smaller because the OUTSIDE of the stock JT glass is full glass. But if you measure the stock glass, there is only 9 7/16" of window space that you can actually see out of. The breezer window measures right at 9 1/4". So 3/16" smaller.

Cutting the lower section of the top would be rough because of how the top and window are made. On the lower inside part of the top is a cover that has to be removed. Once it's removed, you don't have much to work with because the top overlaps onto the body a little. You'd be cutting the top and getting a glass made only to gain maybe a little over an inch of window.

Maybe the top could be restructured to allow more useable window.
