Iv'e seen quite a few campers rigged with motorcycle channels on the rear, even with a ramp that flips down for easy loading and unloading.buddy of mine a while back got a channel rigged to his trailer tongue, a few straps later and all good and not in his truck bed he seemed to think it was a better place for it than in the bed, just a thought
When you put one on the tongue you'd need to compensate by moving some weight rearward in the camper/trailer.
