I took advantage of the Labor Day sale from @Hothead Headliners, and I am SO happy that I did! I bought the full liner package, including the Sound Assassin and the side panels. It was immediately obvious how much of a difference it made with road noise and interior echo. I have the, "Premium", stereo, and I will tell you that I was extremely put off by how boomy and distorted it sounded with my hard top. Hotheads made my stock stereo sound like I had a new sound system installed. Seriously. In stock configuration, I had to turn the bass down 3 notches, and the treble and midrange up 2 and 3 to compensate for the hard top causing echo and reverb. After the Hotheads install, I have everything set back to factory center, and it sounds so much better! I'm not gonna say it sounds, "Good", but a serious improvement. I have over $30K invested into my home sound system, so yeah, I'm a sound snob. However, when it comes to vehicle stereo systems, I understand it's not an ideal environment, so I live with what I have, and don't invest money into making it sound as good as my home system. I will say without hesitation, that the Hotheads made a marked improvement, and I can at least live with it now. It's still not tomb-quiet as my previous F150, but, again, I understood what I was getting into with a Jeep, and manged my expectations. However, the Hotheads, again, really made it much more livable! This is one mod that I would HIGHLY recommend! Thank you Hotheads!
