@GladLad, Well it’s been awhile. It’s holding up just fine. 6 college moves/2 kids/2 dogs.
No issues. It’s too late here to snap a pic.
I actually forgot it’s there. No peeling or abrasion.
I’ll see if i
Can grab a pic tomorrow.
Cheers
Impressive! I guess having a step prevents some wear as you're less likely to be stepping and dragging your feet across the filmed area. But 3.5 years later is impressive regardless.

If you've got pics, I'd love to see it. Thanks.

@Moab How the? They don't even look used. Clean, no scratches, no peeling, no grime sneaking in underneath. At no point did you try to climb and cover the lip? Even without, looks undamaged.

I'm not sure if I'll be adding steps, so I'll probably still go with a more conventional sill guard due to heavy stepping traffic. But that's remarkable to the point it may be something I add for extra coverage where sill guards don't reach.

Wonder how easy it'd be to fit the curves of the front of the hood.

Thanks for the picture follow up.

@GladLad : I wasn’t sure how it would cooperate on the compound curves so that’s why it’s mostly on the flats. Yes my runners help. I’m not doing major rock climbing so they are pretty safe on the trails I visit. I’m sure they will help protect any exposed surfaces it’s applied to. At least they take some damage before the paint. Good luck mate.
Cheers

I couldn't decide on sill guards, kept putting it off so decided in the mean-time I'd put paint protecting film on the sills to keep my big feet from dragging on and scratching the blue paint in the door openings.
I think I'm leaving it that way. If the protecting film wear or looks bad, I take it off and put on new. I like the blue there. It actually does give and bend a bit so I've covered some of the minor curves, but it's what is protecting the sills where my feet would normally drag.
