So those of you with the manual transmission and Idrive throttle controller, what setting do you like best?

Performance 3 or 4 on road, and the economy 0-3 off road.

I've settled into the U-1, for now.

I picked up the Idrive for better response from idle. I'm really tired of having to look down at my tach in noisy traffic to keep from lugging or stalling. I have always been a stick shift guy and can shift my old CJ's in my sleep, but this hi-rev motor is tricky as hell when you can't hear it.
I do think the controller is helping quite a bit.

I tried several settings for a whole gas tank each to compare mpg as well as feel

The econ setting were very disappointing, actually got worse gas mileage. I wonder if I used more throttle since it did lessen the response.

I tried u8 and ended up liking u3. There was no notable difference in mpg between u2 and u6. I like u3. It provides better response but doesn't Rev the engine like u8.

The Econ modes aren't great around town, I agree. But they are excellent off road and in the snow. U8 is about pointless.
