I couldn’t agree more. Their products are top notch. High end cnc machines handling bending (brake) and cutting. And hand welded in Colorado. I’ve got their diff skids, fad skid, and belly skids. I’ve raked them over the coals and they’ve more than done their job. Skids are expensive, but nothing close to the cost of damaging the things they protect.Metal Cloak, Artec, Rockhard, Asfir, Next Venture are a few of them, steel is heavy , aluminum is lighter .
I am going Next Venture not cause they are cheap but because they are one of the makers that remove the factory gas tank skid and replace everything ,new cross members and then use 7071 aluminum with plastic UHMW on the bottom to slide quietly and they have nothing on the skid to snag on rocks. Removing the gas tank skid gives more clearance instead of hanging another skid under it, their old skid system was a 20 pound increase in weight, not sure what the new one I have coming will be but I will weight it before installing and weight all the steel coming off. Their build quality is reflected in the price including the additional UHMW board, even their support legs are not just flat steel bent but welded angle giving more strength.
I ride a unlifted Mojave and every skid under my truck is scratched up and I just bump along, I am excited about the UHMW board. If you want to talk to someone there ask for Tyler in sales tell him Jack sent ya perhaps he will take care of you, they get customer service there!
Dan “Wildhobo” turned me onto them, would have got the differential skids also if I had not gotten cast covers , but they do mount under the diff taking away perhaps 1/4” of clearance which is in short supply for me…..Jack
