I ordered Black Rhino Armory wheels from another vendor last week. I got a notification from UPS that the order was delayed due to a wreck. They came today and the driver said an 18-wheeler was in a wreck. Three of my wheels are fine but the fourth had some damage on the box. When I opened it up, I saw this:

Jeep Gladiator Slightly damaged (scratched) wheel in transit B5139A78-BB1D-4445-911E-6A78B27298B8

The damage is limited to the very top where it’s shown in the photo — nothing that would be visible once they’re installed.

Is it worth contacting the vendor and trying to get a replacement?

It couldn't hurt. Maybe they send you a new one and keep that for the spare. As long as they dont want it back.

I spoke with a rep from the vendor. I had an appointment with the shop in the morning to install the lift, wheels, and tires. The vendor wants me to return the wheel and then they will send a replacement. I was hoping they would say keep the damaged wheel, but no such luck. They also said they can’t overnight the new wheel. The best I can hope for is Friday, when I had planned to be out of town. Further complicating things, I have a sale pending on my stock wheels/tires. So back to the original question.... worth putting things on hold for a replacement or not worth the hassle?

Looks like a mere flesh wound. Unless there's an actual dent I think it would be more hassle and time spent dealing with it than it's worth. Will the tire lip cover it up?

Yeah, I took it to my tire guy this morning. He said it would be more trouble than it’s worth to try to send it back. The tire will cover it completely. I decided to keep it. Both worth the effort.
