Smokers group - ash tray

I don’t smoke but I would get this option for a couple of reasons. I would take the lighter out and plug in one of those things that makes it a 2 USB power plug. And for the ash tray I would put change in there. Have spotted the lighter just to the left of the power window switches. Does anyone have a picture of the ashtray itself? I got no clue where it is. Thanks to post a picture of this ash tray if you have one.

I think the ash tray sits in a cup holder so no gain there and under the media flap there are usbs, there are more usbs in the back seat, those might be specific to the 8.4 inch radio package I think there are even usbs in the center arm rest. For your purposes I would pass on that package.

Without the smokers group there is no 12v outlet?

The 12v outlet is always there but for $30.00 you get a lighter to put in it and an ashtray to take up one of your cup holders.

You can pick up everything thats in the smokers group at the dollar store for $5. It's just a cup holder ash tray and a lighter that goes in the 12V socket that comes standard. Save your $30 plus tax.

If I'm not mistaken if you get the trailer brake controller option it will replace the 12V socket. I'll be choosing the TBC.

I think you are all right about this. In fact where the lighter goes there is a 12 volt plug in. So why waste the money and why sacrifice a drink holder?

I just found a picture of the ashtray and Homerun is 100% correct. It is in a drink holder spot. See the attached picture

Also, I think the cigarette lighter port will still be there... it just won't have the heating element to plug in.

This. Was just coming back to comment... you'll need that Media Panel that @homerun mentioned if you get the trailer brake installed as the 12v port will be filled in with a knob to make your trailer stop better.
