Thought I would start this thread up again to see if anyone that has not posted here cares to. Or if they want to update their response! I am now 68 and have had 4 Jeeps. A 2002 Liberty. a 2010 Wrangler 2 door sport, a 2021 Gladiator Rubicon, and now my 2023 Gladiator Sport S. Why do I keep coming back to Jeeps? Crazy habit LOL!!!
Update:
66 now. 3 years ago my grandson (he was 6 then) would say "grandpas is older than the hills".
On my 2nd Gladiator and recently we traded my wife's 2021 Grand Cherokee for a 2023 JLU Rubicon 4xe because she has always wanted a purple Jeep and that's about all I could find in purple (and purple was really hard to find at all anyway)
I've lost track of all of our Jeeps so I guess I need to go dig into our insurance records and see what they've got us down for over the years.
I suppose, technically I owned the father of the 90s unibody Jeep Cherokee when I bought my first Eagle in 84. Then came the Comanche. All related, all shared similar traits and all who worked on them got their paychecks and benefits from the same corporate entity. In fact, you can put Jeep front hubs in the Eagle with almost no work. The engines even interchange.
67 now, the JT is Jeep number 2, first was a new 09 wrangler rubi, sold it when it rolled 122k and when I noticed pieces of plastic under the front end. Turned out it was coming out of the ball joints…what will think of next. Been a truck guy all my days, until I got the 09. I got to drive a JT prototype at AEV, that set the hook and have waiting for my f150 to give up before getting my jt.
