There are a few in Portland, ME and in the DC area used for tours. We went on one a few years ago - pretty cool but transitioning from land to water, and back has a big jolt.

Wife and kids road one in Seattle. I seem to recall there was an issue with one of the Duck boats being used for tours and there were several drownings - seemed like a lot of them stopped being used then.

There has been a few that capsized, considering that all of them are 80 or so years old now.
It would be prudent to wear life jackets and exposure suits.
