hows the quality of the RC CAI? It looks solid from the pic despite QC complaints about em. Did u run a TB spacer with it as well?

Quality wasn’t bad at all. It is in there solid and despite of what I read the motor definitely gets more air compared to OEM intake. It was missing a piece that mounted the air box to battery box and rough country shipped me out a whole new CAI no questions asked so I have a second filter. I do plan on getting the spacer at some point but i am still under warranty until next year and on the fence if i should just go ahead and get it or wait until my 3 year warranty is up.

Don't waste your money on a TB spacer. Does absolutely nothing.

Been running the AWE Trail exhaust and loop delete for over a year now. Love it

So I am thinking about getting the AWE Trail. I love the sound of the AWE duel exhaust, but I don't like the big end tips of the duel exhaust..
As far as the loop delete goes, I am up in the air. Does the loop keep equal pressure on both sides, ir does the loop not really do anything?

Got back from the exhaust shop friday. had a 3hr trip to decide if i liked it. ended up doing a muffler swap and resonator swap. 300 bucks total. first we did just a cherry bomb, max loud option they had aside from a delete. Was still quiet, barely noticeable from stock except a bit of tone at 1700 rpm. inside and driving, couldn't tell a difference from stock. Got the resonator swapped and OH BOY! She screams. has a tad bit of drone at 2k but i figured there's no getting away from that with a soft top and it only noticeable with the radio off. I'm happy with it aside from how it sounds at some points inside the cab. Outside it sounds great, everyone says it quite mean. Now that the rose glasses of the first few days are off. Its not as truck like as i wanted tone wise. the pitch is a bit more coupe than 4x4 for my taste. I'll let the exhaust fully bake in and see if it gets any better. But odds are, I'll head back in for a dual chamber muffler swap to see if i can get a deeper tone.
