More of an annoying rant…..Yesterday I went to install the soft top (dual top optioned Gladiator) and I got two left rear corner caps and no right side. Needless to say, I can’t finish the install/install rear window. After the first call I was referred to another customer service number where the second person I spoke with was even more unprofessional and inept as the first. I was literally told “I am not sure I can or know how to help you”. Then I was told, “that is a dealer issue and I need to work something out with them”. This was a factory sealed kit still anchored in the bed from the factory. After the time spent and frustration it appears my best option with the least added cost of Advil would be to just buy the $225 part from Mopar Parts and move on. I feel if I keep trying (wait) to work this out this out with FCA this install will never get completed.

I would pay a visit to the dealer when they open tomorrow and let them get you a new part, or if they have a dual option on their lot, to take the part needed from that box.
They may say, we don't do that. My response would be "you do now."

I appreciate the advice and will give it a try. Let’s hope the dealer is like the good people on this forum…..Merry Christmas !

Hi Darian,
We certainly understand your frustration. As customer care agents, we are not mechanically trained and therefore, do rely on our dealers in the field to diagnose vehicle concerns. If you need additional assistance throughout your service visit, please feel free to send us a PM. We can connect you with a Case Specialist if needed.

Did you have any luck with the dealership? I picked my Jeep up about a month ago and that big box is just sitting in the garage for the foreseeable future on account of winter and all... but I’ve been wondering if I should open it up just to inspect it and make sure the parts are all there.

I am still trying to work it this mix up out with Jeep/FCA. Alex with JeepCares has been great and very helpful. I am now working with a Case Management Specialist. I was told today that I need to schedule an appointment with the service manager at the dealership of purchase and take the truck to them. Just trying to move my schedule around to accommodate. its a lot to go through for a small part. I am sure there is someone out there in the same situations with two right side pieces. I will keep updating this post as I progress through this process.
