I have the softopper and have zero complaints about it. I ultimately went with the softopper over the bestop because more bedracks were compatible with it. Price was comparable to each other. I'm sure @Softopper will have a Black Friday sale.

I had the Bestop and while I bought it used, I preferred how the back window attached via a bar over the tailgate vs the Softopper attaching directly to the outside of the tailgate.

That said, I’m not sure how old the cap was when I bought it but the material had stretched enough that I’d have to re-secure the bottoms of the sides and back after almost every drive. It did do its job of keeping gear dry on a rainy roadtrip regardless.

I have been underwhelmed by the Bestop Super Top 2 and Bestop in general. You can read about my experience with that topper HERE. (Be aware that Bestop and Softtopper are now owned by the same parent company)

Some of the design choices on the topper make life harder than it needs to be. Not having a roll-up rear window is a pain in the ass. Also, having a cross bar at the tailgate that has to be removed separately to open up the back of the truck completely is a baffling design call, especially when Bestop has a design and extrusions for a captured rear cross bar that just rolls/snaps into place (used on their Wrangler soft tops).
