[Solved] rusty freckles on brand new Sport S Bright White

Hey guys. Just picked up my bright white Sport S and noticed some dark brown speckles in the paint on the hood. I hand washed and they didn't come out. Any idea what this is or how I should approach with the dealer?

That is rail dust from shipping. All vehicles get this phenomenon when shipping by rail. Clay barring should remove most of them.

first thing i did when me vehicle got home was to claybar the whole thing.

As Bruce said, Claybar will remove them. Be careful if you have never used it because you can mess up your paint if you let it dry out while rubbing

Had to do mine to get bedline overspray off the tailgate and the back window. Also some down the outside of the bed up close to the top of the rails. It amazes me how crappy of a job the dealership does with this stuff

Yes, for those new to clay barring it is best to was the vehicle first, then use a detail spray and clay away in sections and wipe off. always keep the surface lubricated for claying.
