Coming from a 2000 wrangler se. The Gladiator is quiet. Over the last two days there is a low hissing or static sound coming from front to right

I work for a dealership and will be getting with service but thought I would see if someone else has heard it

I have taken It out of gear. No change

Turn off radio. No change

Turn of climate. No change

Checked for anything rubbing underneath and in the wheel wells Nothing noticed

Not engine speed connected

Put my hand in different locations and canā€™t pinpoint

It starts around 10 mph and stays the same no matter what speed above that

Drive another one today and not there

Iā€™ll let you know what happens but if anyone has experienced would love to hear

Not sure if this is related but throwing it out there...I was told my my salesperson that the 2 tiny looking speaker thingys in the sound bar put out ā€œwhite noiseā€ to help with drowning out road noise. Never investigated to see it i was being treated like a honey bee and having smoked blown up my rear to pacify me. Maybe what u hear? Iā€™m middle aged so hearing has diminished and i cant tell if they work or not. Possibility?

Sorry to say but I donā€™t see anything about active noise cancellation. That is probably the BT microphone. I am a manager at a Jeep dealer so not 100% on product.

It seems better. I told myself with no MIL I will drive it to 1000 miles and then see

Not sure if there is such a thing as break in on a trans. Very odd

I'm pretty sure those are just the 1 inch tweeters. I also haven't heard of any white noise tech on these, why would you need it with the road noise?

OP,

I am also experiencing a "hiss" that seems to get louder with RPM. It's not the stereo or AC, it sounds like air to me. I'll keep an eye on this post, I'm having it looked at during first oil change soon.

Those are definitely not tweeters. Usually these are either microphones or temperature sensors for the HVAC system
