I wasn’t implying. I will have stock 17 x 7.5 Rubicon rims. I want to install the same BFG’s 35”. Should I buy 17x 8.5” rims.

I have 35-12.5 Yokohama Geolander MT on my Stock rubi rims and I’ve been able to air down to 18 psi no issues

Not saying that you were. More meaning I plan to wheel the F out of it as much as possible and a 17 or 18 is the better choice. You should be fine with an 8.5 and a 35x12.50. Won’t regret it.
