Spark plug gap non existent after being pulled

Has anybody had this issue? I pulled spark plug 3. No codes set but JScan was logging misfires (more then the other cylinders) the spark plug gap was totally closed. Is this from detonation? I’ve also read piston slap but don’t know if it can actually hit the plug. Any insight or help

set it right and put it back in. If it comes back out later with the same issue then diag further. Odds are it got smacked before being put in.

If your spark plug is getting hit by the piston, you'd notice more problems than just occasional misfires. Probably would hear it too.

I'm with @PuddleJumper. Keep it simple.
