Hi all, I recently had the service airbag system light pop up. Took it to the dealer and they said the issue is with the Squib 3 connector on the driver's side. I can't seem to find which connector this is on any online diagrams. Does anyone happen to know? I'd really like to know exactly where to look before I tear out the whole drivers side and go fishing.... Thank you in advance for your help!

Squib connectors are usually what attaches direct to the air bag inflator itself, not the in-between connectors.

Is this not something covered under warranty? I would definitely want to have any work on anything SRS-related done by an authorized party, for both safety and liability purposes.

I'm not concerned with having the dealer do it. If it was the airbag, sure, but this is just a connector that is somewhere under the seat, or near the b pillar. It's likely a connector that needs replaced, or that came loose from when I had the seats unbolted and floor pulled up. In any case, my dealer has offered to fix it, but I don't want to wait until the end of the month, and let them keep my vehicle for several days when it's something that I can likely fix in about an hour on my own.

That's what I thought as well, but the dealer told me this morning its a connector under the seat or by the b pillar, and from what I can find online, it appears that is correct.

Do you happen to know if this is still under the console like it is in the JK? I can't find any diagrams showing the location for the JT.

So odd that you seem to have had this issue on your previous Jeep.

Just a followup as a FYI, the module is under the center console.
As for the fix, it was a connector that had wiggled loose due to my overzealous moving of the seats when installing my armorlite flooring.
