Staying Flush

I am looking to add wheels and tires to my Sport S. I will probably go with a 33” or possibly a 35” tire. I really want to stay either flush with the fenders or just a hair past at most. I’m leaning towards using the wheels that are on the new Willys, but I’d really like to see the non-factory wheels you guys have chosen that meet this criteria.

Black Rhino makes several that are +30 offset. As long as you kept a relatively narrow tire 35x 10.50 or 11.50) that should keep you inside of the fenders. The 10.50's would stick 1" farther out then stock & the 11.50's would be 1.5".

Mine were just a little past flush with my 315 70 17 BFGs installed on the stock wheels before I added wheel spacers. Would sit flush with a slightly smaller tire width. Stock Black Wheels, 17X7.5

I am running the back rhinos arsenals with a +30 on Kenda 35x10.5 on my sport. Make sure if you run the willys rim it is rated for the payload of the gladiator. I think I read on here somewhere they didn’t have the payload rating if you were ever to tow.

I didn’t know that about payload on the Willys Wheels. How do you check the payload for a specific wheel? Are they rated like tires? BTW, your tires are in line with the fender flare just like I am looking for, thanks.

If anyone else has similar pics with aftermarket wheels I’d love to see them.

Do you have the Max Tow package on your Sport? If so, you have wider axles to take into consideration as well.

Thanks! I love the Kendas. I had my doubts at first but read a lot of reviews online and really couldn’t find anyone who actually owned them that had something bad to say. In my opinion, for the price you can’t go wrong. They perform great on and off road, are quiet and are wearing very well. When I have to replace them, I will for sure buy them again.

Do you have the Max Tow package on your Sport? If so, you have wider axles to take into consideration as well.

I do not have the tow max package. This is fun truck and I don’t have plans of towing much with it.

Without Max tow and 4.10 gears you will want to take that into consideration because most 35's aren't going to fit with stock wheels. The Max Tow has wider axles and the same gearing as the Rubicon. I wide tire is going to hit the lower control arm at full turn on a non Max tow.

So if I add the Mopar 2” lift would I have the tire rubbing issues on the control arm? I’m pretty certain I’m going to stick with 33” tires and no lift, or maybe just a level.
