Hey Group, I tried searching before posting and cannot seem to find info on why my steering feels to fight me or push back when I am trying to turn the wheels when against an obstacle. It feels like it pulses and I cannot seems to find why. Not sure which part of the ElectroHydraulic Steering Assembly. Not sure if its the Pump or the Steering Box or something else.

Nothing is wrong. There’s just an enormous amount of force from the tires when you’re against a rock or tree, or whatever. That’s why many choose to install larger steering gearboxes, and either hydraulic assist or full hydraulic ram steering for serious offroad use.

It sounds like you got the front locker on? Yeah, it will absolutely do that. You're feeling the u-joints at the wheel ends of the axles. The more you air down, the worse it gets. In some situations you won't even be able to steer at all. I only use front lockers as a last resort.

Even without the locker if you’re against a rock the right way. And I don’t have u joint axles.
