Was under the JT Rub Diesel and noticed that the protector of the steering stabilizer shaft was loose and the shaft was exposed.... Funny how i took it in for an oil change on Thursday and last time I was under the Jeep, Monday, it was fine... Now there is oil dripping down onto the front diff also.
There are no maks on the protector to indicate it took a direct hit and came apart due to that... Dont know how they managed to do that!
While under the Jeep i could not get it back in place.
Can some one please confirm that the plastic protector should go OVER the end cap and not that the protector should be inside the end cap?
Will prob unmount the stabilizer and try and remount the protector.
Thx
