Hey @steffen707 is this going to be what the paint job of your Gladiator will look like when you get it? If it is then I think it will look great, especially if you are a hunter. Love the camouflage look. Ya gotta post pictures of that after the new paint job.

that was just a rendering that somebody created on the Gator page.

My first JT is going to be bright white, but I intend to get a Gator Rubicon in 3 years when my lease is up on the white one. That's a long ways away though, so plans could change.

Edit: My 2 year old son just pointed to the avatar photo you posted and said, "I love that Daddy."

Show him this picture. Was shot by my younger daughter(now 29), first and only deer for her. Shot it from about 100 yards. She shot it about 2 years ago.

Nice, shot my first buck on my 34th birthday 6 pointer, few days after 36th bday shot a 7 pointer. November of 2020 I should get an 8 pointer.

Steph . . . I suggested a time ago and a few threads too, that you might want to rethink Color options . . . just in case GATOR won't be around in 3 years ( by all historical guesses, it won't?) . But I suppose you could always get it WRAPPED in any color you want too ! ? Just a friendly heads up !

Only if it's what YOU desire my friend . . . you'll be the one living with it day in day out ! For that matter same thought applies to the White ! ? IF your 'settling" for the white . . . then, if it were me, I would wait a tiny bit longer and order the color I'm really desirous for ! And that for ME (as of now or until they surprise us with a new color or 2 come CY2020?) is the Gator . Not sure what my second choice would be ? Don't surprise us when you make the Final Decision and ORDER IT ! Dying to see the "look" on your face - make it real - when 1st you two glance into each others eyes/headlights; magical ! Be sure the Wife is there to take THAT Snap Shot ! ! !

some good advice as usual. Not sure I can wait any more though. Gator pre-spec sport S might not be on dealer lots for 6 months. My grand caravan is on its last legs. AC is dead, driverside rear caliper starting to stick, AGAIN.....

Also if I get a JT now I can start all my mods and then transfer them to a Gator IF I really like it as much in person as i think I will. Only things I cant transfer would be vinyl decals.

There ya go ! Q ? What is meant by "pre spec" in these JT (or JL for that matter) discussions ? My original thought was (when the LE's were an issue) was that they were EARLY builds that may not be sold to the individual consumer .

Pre-spec (as I understand it) is when FCA tells a dealer they're sending them a car with xyz options. The dealer has no input in the options, and thus isn't part of the ones they get to order for their inventory. I believe the Pre-spec gets kinda pushed to the back of the line when there are customer orders.

Now the reason why I wanted a Pre-spec in the first place is that when you order a car to lease it, you don't know what your lease payments will be until the car arrives.
With a Pre-spec or car on the lot, you know exactly what you'll pay before you commit.
Example, my lease has a refundable deposit in case FCA jacks the lease terms.

Another reason I wanted to get one asap is that generally with a new model, lease terms are best in the beginning.

There's 2-5 threads about leasing in case you're interested.
