Great build, I love the wheels

EU-Gladitors come stock with the Mojave hood.
We only get the Overland trim and the Sport (coming sometime in April), no Rubicon or Mojave for the EU, though.
Mine is a fully loaded Overland.

Had dealership install an AEV 2.5“ lift, 17“ Bawarrion Bon‘Z beadlocks running 35“ BFG KO2 ATs.
Rubicon X bumper (ridiculously expensive to get here) with a Warn Evo 12s we’re deed as well. Additional bumper-mounted LEDs coming next.

G'day from Aus!

After an 8 month wait (that's not a typo) finally took delivery of my Sting Gray JT Rubicon. Only color choice considered after they discontinued Punkn', and certainly not disappointed.

Had two black JK Wrangler Unlimited prior to this and this is definitely an upgrade.

Raw canvas at the moment with BIG plans for work to be done over the next 6 months or so. Only upgrade from the dealer was a GVM upgrade which also gave a 1 1/2" lift. (Hint for Aussie buyers, the GVM upgrade is basically FREE! The increased payload means the vehicle is no longer subject to LC Tax)

Look forward to sharing details of how we mod our right hand drives Down Under.

Cheers

Why are the red tow hooks covered? I noticed the same while watching an Aus Gladiator video on YouTube the other day.

They are plastic caps, probably just a shipping thing to stop them getting scratched, not sure of any legal reason for them. Just haven't gotten around to taking them off. Have a Smittybilt Stryker bullbar to put on, so won't be there that long anyway. Just waiting to get it Rhino lined.

Amazingly its nothing to do with shipping/scratching etc... They are a requirement in Australia to protect anyone who you might hit in your huge brick of a vehicle from getting hurt on the hooks :headbang:

I got home from the dealer and chucked them, and the plastic crap between the front bumper and fenders.

Enjoy your awesome Jeep.

Yeah, that was my second guess.

That "plastic crap between the front bumper and fenders" was apparently the cause for at least 6 weeks of the delay getting the Jeep. It arrived off the boat in Adelaide without them making it non compliant. So Jeeps idea as the best solution? Send the whole vehicle to Melbourne to add the plastic, then back to Adelaide to put on the train up to Darwin!

As I said, all kinda redundant when I put on the bullbar anyway.

Already enjoying it! Cheers
