I really don’t think they have much visibility. My dealer has been super attentive and giving me updates nonstop. I asked him if he could give me a bit of a firm date so I can get my travel in place now that mine is built and on its way. His response:Last week (9/23)I checked with dealer and was told no change still in SanDiego waiting. Jeep chat connected me with concierge. Hint if you don’t have an LE, they won’t help. They passed me on to jeep corporate. They told me last update was 9/23 and it was on the move.
Called dealer today. They said it was waiting second rail and last update was 9/9. I told them they were wrong and provided info from corporate. They checked again. Nope nothing. Said they need to check again. Low and behold they found it was arriving Wednesday.
Wow. Dealer had no idea an ordered stock was two days out.

“I'll give you as much notice as I can and that may not be much, most likely I'll roll in one morning and it will be here, no worries though I can keep it safe for a few days depending on your schedule for taking delivery.”
