I know a lot of you already have it and love it, I've tried the 7" the 8.4 and the Insane Audio stereo and I must say the Heigh 10 is far superior to those, I love the expandability it has for the cameras and the Enlights. If your interested in anything Stinger, Use MikesGladiator for a discount.

Thanks

I've been on the fence on upgrading my 7" to this or the alpine. I know the alpine is pretty expensive but the interface looks better to me.

I haven't tried the Alpine, but I went with the stinger because of its expandability, and the fact that all of the oem features are carried over to the stinger as well

I was looking at their products and some mention OnX compatibility. Do you know if all their radios have this?

On the Horizon10 OnX is supported through Android Auto. I assume Carplay as well, but can't verify. I use it all the time. You still need to start/stop any new tracks from your phone, but the map views are great on the larger headunit.

Appreciate the info. I guess I was hoping you could put the app on the Stinger, sign in to your account and go.

I got the Heigh 10. Waiting on it to come to install. The customer support was great and explained the differences in detail between the Heigh 10, Heigh 10 +, and Horizon 10.

The price increases for me didn't seem necessary for my needs. The GPS and ON X features were available on all of the models with the purchase of the additional SD card and would work without cell service.

With the ON X, if your Android Auto or Car Play are working, I'd assume those would mirror properly with your phone. I don't have it yet, so don't quote me on it.

Below are the responses I got from customer service. They were awesome, prompt, and very knowledgeable. Hopefully this helps some folks that are waiting to pull the trigger.

No problem! Between the HEIGH10 and HEIGH10+ the differences are:

Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay

Higher resolution screen

SiriusXM compatibility (HEIGH10 is SiriusXM compatible, HEIGH10+ is not)

The HEIGH10 also won't have the connections to control the aux switches. It can still be used to control our Enlight10 lighting provided you have the adapter harness for the control brain but it does not have the ability to connect to a switch hub to control accessory devices, only the HEIGH10+ and HORIZON will be able to connect with that. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Regarding the promo codes/discounts: unfortunately none of the large radio kits (HEIGH10, HEIGH10+, HORIZON10, HORIZON12) are eligible for any promotions. They are all excluded from any of the current active promo codes, so that is the reason the Jeep forum code is not working. It should apply toward anything else on the site, but those radio kits won't be eligible. That may have been a miscommunication by whoever provided that forum group with their code because I see they say all products in their message to you.

Regarding the differences between the HEIGH10+ and the HORIZON10: aside from the waterproofing the HEIGH10+ is also not compatible with SiriusXM. You can still listen to it via your phone using the Sirius app, as long as you're connected via either Android Auto / Apple CarPlay or bluetooth but it isn't compatible with the SiriusXM tuner module which would allow you to get Sirius directly through the radio. Other than that the HEIGH10+ also does not have a Toslink/optical port, but to be honest that is only used in very specific high-end audio applications and for 99% of people won't be a relevant feature, so the waterproofing and Sirius compatibility are the major differences.
Having had both the Heigh10 and the Horizon10 in separate vehicles, I don't know that I'd be able to go back to the Heigh10. The extra buttons along the bottom bothered meore than they should have I guess. The Horizon10 is just much cleaner on the dash. Folks ask me all the time if it's OEM. The Aux switches are also a big deal for me.
