I recently ordered a Mojave and I noticed on my order confirmation that my dealer put the M/T tires instead of the A/T tires. I live in the Northeast and see mainly sand/snow/road driving. I've read that M/T tires can be iffy in the sand and downright bad in the snow.

All of my previous vehicles (including Jeeps) have had A/T tires, so I've never had experience with M/T tires.

Should I:
  1. Try and get them to switch to A/T at the dealer
  2. Buy some new A/T tires and sell the M/T
  3. Just roll with the M/T until I need new ones

I can't speak to snow, but had good luck with M/T's in sand. I too am stuck with M/T's when I wanted A/T's due to supply issues. All ordered JT's are coming with M/T's right now due to supply.

Maybe the dealership is willing to swap? I might ask this question of the dealership I am buying from as well. If not, I'll be going with your option #3 - but that is because I don't have to worry about snow.

I just wanted to follow up here now that I've got a few thousand miles on my Gladitaor. I haven't had a chance to test in sand/snow, but on the road and "light" off-road, these tires are excellent. I've decided to keep them for now.
