Honest question. Does stripping down your truck ever get old? I just bought mine and all I want to do is get naked every weekend. …sorry, honey ?

Now I just have to figure out the best way to store everything and still get in the garage.
NEEEVER!! My front doors and top have been off since May. Just dressed it this past weekend for a trip to Mt. Airy for Mayberrys days. Now I feel claustrophobic sitting in it with the doors and top back on.

We did the Freedom panels for a bit but then got a Bestop Sunrider last year. It went on in April and we flip it back all the time. Roll widows down, open the back window, and roll the windows down. We can still button it back up in zero time if it starts raining.

I took out the bolts that have the spring loaded door assist the day I got it and have not put them back in - was skeptical at first but now I'm glad I haven't put them back in.

Also took the bolt caps off the bottom of the pins and those as well are no longer there, hence the 2-3 minute process.
Did you take the door assists (stops) completely out? I’ve saw a video online and it looks pretty tedious taking all the door panels off to get to the assist. I’ve also read people just pushing them into the door. But i hate rattles and they said it can be very noisy!

Mine have been in the door since June. All summer I've had no bolts, the trim panels for the switches are removed and the door assists are in.

So to remove the door you just unplug the electrical and lift it off the hinges.

Has anyone tried to get the door assists back out? Any tips would be appreciated.

Its time to put them back in place and put the trim panels back for the winter.
