Stubby bumper NOT street legal?

While scrolling through YouTube, I saw a video that stated that in some states stubby bumpers are NOT street legal.

Is this True?

Not in some states. Utah and Pennsylvania among others require the bumper cover the track width which limits you to a mid-width at the shortest.

In some states it’s illegal to modify suspension up or down. There are lots of fun things to do to your vehicle that are “illegal”. Unless you’re in a true commie state that does vehicle inspections each year don’t worry about it. Just don’t convert your Jeep into a police vehicle and nobody will bother you.
