Suggestions on front bumpers that also allow for winch mounting

Thanks for the add. I just picked up a new Gladiator overland, last jeep I owned was over 20 years ago, so I'm pumped to be back in "the club." I want to try and do most of the mods on my own. I am looking for suggestions on front bumpers that I can install on my own, that will also allow me to add a winch. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I haven’t had any cooling problems. And there is a several-inch gap behind the winch, so it gets adequate air for proper cooling.

Rugged ridge full width spartan bumper with Badlands Apex 12000lb winch installed. Haven't noticed any drop in MPGs since installing either of them. Still around 18 MPGs, even with the bottom air dam/plastic skid removed. Also no noticable sagging in the front with the added weight. I'm pleased with it. Also allows you to keep your stock foglights.

Fab Fours Stubby...

If I had gotten a stubby it would of been this one. This was my second choice behind the Rugged, in the end I just wanted to do a full width on this build but yours still gets me.

I have a Quadratec QRC stubby bumper on mine. It's winch ready. I had a similar, non-stubby version on my JKU and it was a good, solid bumper.

I went with the Rugged Ridge HD Stubby and the Smittybilt 10k Winch. Wanted to allow as much air-flow as possible and the RR HD has the winchplate set pretty low in the bumper. Also uses the OEM Fogs and allows for the use of the OEM skidplate.

Personally, I think the OEM steel front bumper is the nicest looking one. you can probably find a good deal on someone taking theirs off.

Jamie, what size tires and wheels you have? Lifted at all? How much?

2.5" SST Readylift, has a 2.5" puck for the front and 2" for the rear. Running stock wheels with 1.75" spacers and 315 70 17 BFG KO2 tires. I was tempted to not lift it but decided in the end it would look better lifted once I put the bumper on and eventually I'm planning on going to 37's once these tires wear out.

Rock Hard has aluminum bumpers, so adding a bumper and winch won't make the front end sag so much.

I like the Rugged Ridge Arcus with my Smittybuilt 12k. Finally just got it finished this weekend. Took a while because I did a custom location for the soliniod box.

Only thing I will say is it took 3 people and a jack to get this thing installed. It has you hold and line up about 5 different things at once for the install
