So I am placing my order for the Max tow Gladiator as soon as Gobi color comes back which supposedly is late this month according to the new order sheet but at latest will be April 1st so I have taken delivery by the time I want to do a 3 week, 5000 mile, 12 states total road trip with me , my wife, and by then we will have a 2 month old child that is yet to be born as of typing this while hauling our pop up and motorcycle. thinking of driving to a campground somewhere and then chilling there for the day after drive a day rest a day for 3 weeks essentially and just live out of the truck and camper for those 3 weeks. anyone done a road trip this advanced and if so any suggestions?

I’m thinking the last 2 weeks in July and first week in August from MN to the Grand Canyon north loop and then the way back take a much more southern loop taking me all the way over to Louisiana. Ever done a trip that big before?

Did MS to west texas to long route through New Mexico to Ouray last summer back through New Mexico white sands and all back to MS after hitting a bunch of bbq spots in texas both ways.

Trying to figure out a similar trip up to Yellowstone or glacier at the moment.

Planning an August 3-week trip on the Trans America Trail from TN to Moab and back using a northern route. The Trans America Trail is the slow way to cross the US using (almost) entirely dirt roads. No pavement.

I had quite a few planned for this summer but those are going to have to be put on th back burner now until these gas prices come back down hopefully.

I was wondering this same thing the other day about a trip to southern Utah. A friend said, "in 5 years you will remember the trip, not the gas prices."

This is why I ordered a Gladiator instead of a Maverick hybrid - 20 years from now my kids will remember the rides to school with the top and doors off. (and I need to tow a boat occasionally).
