I keep forgetting to get these for a backup, but part of me wants them to fail while under warranty so Stellantis gets hit with the repair bill eventually.
It's probably such a cheap and hassle free fix that many owners opt to fix it themselves without going to a dealer for the warranty work, especially since it's not a true fix.
Happened to a coworker of mine, twice. They replaced them under warranty. 6 months later I was putting Amazon clips in her visors.

I rarely use mine, so they are still fine over four years later. I did buy one of the bigger support plates for the driver's side a few months ago.

Mine broke right after my warranty expired. The clip wasn’t enough to fix it completely. I eventually need to replace it. Just not excited to spend that amount of money on it.
