Update!
Dealer called - still no word from STAR people.

So without my Jeep for yet another day (took it in Tuesday AM early, they'll have it into Thursday)
Bummer as it means I have to take Pickle to the vet and try to get our large cat carrier into my little car.

No resolution, no word from ANYONE.

LOL - I BAFFLED them all!
You’re not allowed to drive the jlu?🤣

She's been using it herself lately - today she was down in another town selling raffle tickets for a quilt raffle, and helping out at a senior center, tomorrow she's got another trip planned with her Jeep.
Busy week for her.

Yeah, it needs exercise.
IF the JLU was available, I'm sure Barbara would say "I'll drive" LOL

I’ve got nothing to add to this but a question:

How is that little flap supposed to channel water into the plastic tray/funnel/drip rail thing? They don’t line up at all.

It guides it forward - it works is all I can say.
Yours looks distorted, out of shape.

Maybe it is sort of like how leaf guard gutters work, water is guided forward, and then follows the door frame into the channel.

UPDATE!
Call from dealer - they said we'll come and pick you up so you can have your truck back.
They were glad they'd kept it as STAR wanted MORE pictures and MORE measurements!

They have kicked it up to engineers and are involving - you guessed it - Bestop.
Dylan said it may be a couple of weeks before they get any further communication.
So now, it's wait and see.

Depending on how this works out - any resolution will likely be applied to all sunriders sold with new Jeeps and anyone else who has a new one with the fitment issues (pushing down on the mucket, too close to the door up front and so on)

So it's an official case. How long it takes? Who knows.
Resolution? Who knows.

But it's a real deal as far as the dealership and Jeep STAR are concerned.
It's not "just me".

It sounded to me like this wasn’t specific to yours. Glad you’re getting it back. And you’ll now be helping thousands of 2025 owners.

Exactly - and maybe that's one reason I pushed harder, too - I want mine to be right, but if this is wrong for others (and from pictures, I see it is!), it may finally be addressed. Make it right for THEM, too.

Thank you. Hopefully a solution will be coming soon.

To keep others who may have an issue with a 2024/2025 with the Jeep Sunrider informed and in keeping @Bestop informed (although they probably already know since it's gone to Jeep engineers and the dealership said the supplier was involved as well) - here's another tiny bit of info ->

I received this from JeepCares earlier today:

After review, we see a case has been opened with our engineering team to help the dealership with your Sunrider repair. Our engineers are actively working on a solution at this time.

Again, there's a STAR case, it's gone to engineering team (according to the dealership AND JeepCares, both)

So I'll be without a solution for a while, but that's ok - just want them to get it right, not fast. And again, hoping it might help some of the others who may be seeing this.

Could this crack/damage on the seal be the culprit behind the whistling I hear at highway speeds post Bestop install?

Easiest way to find out is to cover it with some tape and take a drive.

Truth right here. When chasing wind noise, one of the first steps (after verifying thar there actually is an unusual noise) is to cover the suspect areas with tape, in short sections, and drive it again under the same conditions present when the noise is heard. If the noise is gone, remove a section of tape at a time and drive it again. Do this until the noise returns, when it returns, you have found the source area for the noise.
