Jeep Gladiator surprisingly good mileage mileage

Stock 2024 Sport JT manual, never reset MPG calculator since new, now 10,200 miles. Driving from Richmond VA to Pittsburgh my average was around 22PMG. On the way back with lots of long downhill runs it topped at 27.2! Now its hanging around 22mpg around town but it was good while it lasted!

I've seen that once in my Overland (ordered 5/19, delivered 7/19), still stone stock (even still factory tires).

Not the actual mileage on the VIC, it said around 26.5, but when I calculated that tank, I got 27.2 MPGs. That was on a trip from S.E. PA to upper MI and back. Set the cruise at 70 MPH on the interstate and let 'er rip.

Last year I drove south from Grand Forks, MN to Fargo MN. The speed limit is 75 mph. I got 26 mpg.
The return trip driving north from Fargo to Grand Forks I got 16 mpg at 75 mph.
it was an extremely strong wind blowing from the north and my stock Gladiator (3.6 with automatic) is not exceedingly aerodynamic.
Driving around in town Florida, being conservative, I consistently get 21-22 mpg , unless I’m jammed on I-75 with a backup.
27.2 mpg is phenomenal!
My 2021 Willys diesel consistently gave me 27 mpg. On my 14000 journey to Alaska snd back, pulling my ~3000 lbs Casita travel trailer I got 17+ mpg overall, at 60-65 mph.
A heavy foot on the floor board with jack rabbit acceleration will burn some gas!

Holy crud, I’m lucky if I get 17-18, I’m jealous. I’m on 37’s and regeared to 4:88, but still no where near your mpg.

Sounds good to me on those large tires and your mods.

Wait, you have a 24 gladiator with manual transmission? I could’ve found a 24 with a stick? Dangit.
