In my quest for a smoother ride out on the trails, I acquired a JKS Quick Disconnect set from a forum member. I decided that cutting the passenger side tab was not for me and another member had a Teraflex Disconnect kit so I bought that. I ended up mashing the two kits together because the Teraflex kit has much longer links then the JKS kit. This ultimately ended up with the result as shown in the pictures.

Due to the Teraflex kit, the swaybar links connect much higher and result in of course a much steeper angle on the swaybar. (It would of been even steeper with the Teraflex links.) I've read various opinions on the matter with some saying it really won't affect anything to it would behave more similar to if they were disconnected. From my driving experience so far I haven't noticed much of a difference. I know the swaybar should have a slight up angle in the neighborhood of 5-10° but that won't be possible.

So any thoughts out there? Is this fine or should I look for a different solution?

If it doesn't hit anything when you're at full stuff I don't think there's an issue.

It will function on road just fine, just make sure to disconnect if you're going off road and you'll be fine. With a Rubicon sway bar it is more critical as the end links stay connected and the sway bar can be pushed into the fender liners and even the spring buckets at full stuff if the links are too long.
