Iam planning to delete my auxiliary battery today and am wondering if I'll lose my jscan and tazer settings with both battery's disconnected. Iam pretty sure jscan was only used to correct tire size. Tazer was added later on.

Thanks!

The only thing you should lose is the 'live' settings on the tazer... Like if you have Auto Stop/Start disabled. It remembers that only when plugged in, so with power disconnected completely, you'll have to reset up anything like that.

Wheel size, gear ratio, any 'adjustments' to the computer are stored on the computer and will stay after the delete.

Before disconnecting the battery….. Unmarry, reboot, and 2 sleep cycles (TAZER).

I did this before a dealership visit and vehicle inspection a couple weeks ago. When I installed the tazer back in….marry, reboot, 2 sleep cycles - it actually remembered all my setting (start stop & Kill3honk) from before.

I disconnected both batteries today to do an auxiliary battery delete and then drove around with just the main battery. Tazer seems to have all the same settings as before.

JSCAN actually saves the changes in the modules. Tire size, for example - is a permanent change, not live, with JSCAN.
JSCAN is basically changing numbers/values or True/False settings - and they remain until the module is flashed by the dealer for any reason.

Yes and Iam so glad I didn't have to go through and set everything to how I had it with jscan and tazer.
