Hi all, I bought the Tazer lite from Quadratec, it looked to be pretty straightforward to plugin, but when I actually got under the dash, my Gladiator has one of the plus that fits and one is twice the size. See pic. Am I doing this wrong or diud they change these size of these plugs for 2021?

Haha I can get the one on the right unplugged but not the one on the left. My fat fingers can’t unplug it. I need to remove the left part of the dash to do it and I can’t find a video...

So frustrating...I’ve had my tazer on my kitchen counter for like 4 month.

You only remove the ONE panel under the steering column. Remove the panel .. Have a good light
under there. Lean in and look up and find the 2 connectors you need to deal with.
I know the two connectors. I can get the right one out but not the left. That’s why I want to remove the extra panel so I can get it.

Just out of curiosity why does the taser have to be unplugged when it goes to the dealer?

Like others, I was having a hard time getting my fat fingers way up there to push the little tab in, and pull the plug at the same time. So I got a good light, and a long skinny flat head screwdriver. With only the steering wheel panel off, get your head under there and push the tab with the screwdriver. Keeping one hand on the screwdriver, you can remove your head. Then reach in with the other hand and remove the plug. Doing it that way took only a few minutes after I fumbled for a long time.
I'm definitely going to invest in the extender wire before my next trip to the dealer for service.

I had to use this little "hook and pick" set I got from harbor freight for 99cents. orange handles. One of the curved ones was perfect for this. was able to pop the tab at the back while lightly pulling the cable.
